Last week, the Secretary of the Department of Transportation Ray LaHood announced the beginning of this year's DUI enforcement activities. States across the nation are conducting increased enforcement patrols designed to catch drunk drivers leading up to Labor Day weekend, traditionally a time of increased drunk driving activity.
Arizona has already reported that it made 306 arrests after the first weekend of this year's Labor Day DUI Crackdown.
