Indiana Lawmaker Introduces Mandatory Interlock Bill

Indiana State Representative, Suzanne Crouch (R-Evansville) has introduced a bill that would make alcohol ignition interlock devices mandatory for all drunk drivers. House Bill 1065 mandates the device be kept on for 6 months on the cars of first time offenders and one year for repeat offenders.

Rep Crouch told News 25 in Evansville that she introduced the bill because "the safety of my constituents and fellow Hoosiers, whether it be in their homes, on the streets is really a top priority for me."
