Detroit and Los Angeles/Ventura Ready to Walk Like MADD

On Saturday, September 27, two great American cities – Detroit and Los Angeles – will host Walk Like MADD, a fun, family-oriented 5K event that raises funds and saves lives on our nation's streets and highways.

Every step taken and every dollar raised supports MADD's Campaign to Eliminate Drunk Driving, which calls for:

• Increased DUI enforcement
• Alcohol ignition interlocks for all convicted drunk drivers
• Development of advanced vehicle-based technologies to prevent a drunk person from starting a vehicle
• Public support from concerned citizens nationwide, led by MADD and its affiliates and members
